We don’t have snow,
or wear Christmas sweaters,
because here we’re blessed
with warm summer weather.
And there’s no one way to celebrate,
because in Australia we come
from all around the place!
But we do sing carols,
eat and drink till we’re merry,
and give thanks that we live
in this land of plenty.
So merry Christmas from your friend
in the land down under,
