The conference begins,
"Ok, good to go?"
we wait on our knees,
we just want to know.
And there it is,
after a short preamble
another two weeks,
our lives in shambles.
None of us are sure
how much more we can take
of curfews
and lockdowns
and consistent heartache.
But we have to stay strong,
whatever it takes.
One day this will be over,
just keep the faith.
